Youville Centre welcomes donations of infant and toddler clothing, clothing suitable for teenage students, toys and various household items such as linens, dishes. Donations can be dropped off at the Centre between 8 and 4 on weekdays. For larger items (cribs, high chairs, sofas, etc.) please speak to the receptionist at (613) 231-5150 ext 0

You can donate all or part of your HBC rewards to Youville Centre! Simply complete a "Supporting Member Donation" form at any Zellers, Home Outfitters or Bay location.
Our Public ID number is 2787597. Your old Club Z points donations can be changed too. You can transfer all of your points to Youville or setup your card to automatically donate a portion of your points to us. Log on to HBC's website for complete instructions.

You can also direct part or all of your United Way contribution to Youville Centre by indicating so on the back of your United Way donor card. Our Charitable Registration number is 11884 8456 RR0001. Please consider this during the next United Way drive

The Youville Centre is a non-profit organization

As with most similar organizations in Canada, it's an ongoing struggle for us to come up with the money needed each year to pay for our many programs and services. We depend completely on both public and private funds for our existence. For that reason, if you'd like to help us we'd be very, very pleased to hear from you.

Over the years, many of our donors have used their contributions to mark a special event: to honour someone's birthday or anniversary, as a graduation or memorial gift or just to say thank you to someone special in their lives. We do our best to make giving as easy as possible. When calling us by telephone, you may use your VISA, Mastercard or AmEx card to make your payment. You can also write us a cheque. Just make it out to "Youville Centre" and mail it to Youville Centre, 150 Mann Avenue, Ottawa ON K1N 8P4. (Don't forget to include your return address.)

Did you also know that...?

Donating securities to us is another option. Everyone who owns stock has to dispose of it sometime. If you sell the stock and keep the proceeds for yourself, you must pay capital gains taxes on 50% of the appreciated amount. By giving the stock to us instead, you eliminate the capital gains taxes and also receive a charitable donation tax receipt for the full market value of the securities you donate.
