At the Youville Centre Volunteering is extremely important

Volunteers are an integral part of the Youville Centre, whether working up front or behind the scenes. Our volunteers are young and old, energetic and enthusiastic.

Youville volunteers bring their expertise from all walks of life and offer their talents to help our young mothers. Without them, Youville could not manage to meet the daily needs of our mothers and their children.

Our volunteers...

• tutor young mothers in their high school courses
• design bulletin boards
• work at fundraisers

• speak to service clubs
• deliver furniture
• rock babies to sleep
• answer phones
• do administrative work

• organize Food Bank donations

• lobby government officials
• sort Swap Shop goods
• build shelves and sheds
• hang pictures
• participate in special events
