Alumnae Support

Thanks to a United Way grant, support services and events for Alumnae have continued. Alumnae have been served by all members of the Student Support staff in their various areas of expertise.

Specific events have been held with Alumnae families in mind. These included:

Moms' Night Out, Come 'n See Evening, - an evening of community resources for mothers and children with dinner provided;

Alumnae and New Graduates Picnic, - a family picnic in our play-yard introducing newly-graduated alumnae;

OSAP Information Presentation - followed by one-on-one assistance with applications;

$1,000 bursaries were awarded to Christiana Cloutier, Tracy Carson, Kristina Crowther, Ashley Gauthier and Andrea Roy;

Brianne Marvin and Megan Brown received bursaries of $500;

Three children of former Youville students received $1,000 bursaries for post-secondary education:

Kyle Carkner son of Penny Cooney, 1990, Joshua Towell son of Debbie Towell, 1990 and Nicholas Lynda son of Natalie Lynda, 1992.
